Arthur was our uncle and a brave volunteer who flew many raids before being shot down on 23rd June 1943. Coincidentally his twin, our mother gave birth to her first child that night and sadly Arthur was looking forward to seeing twin sisters baby but salt did not. Our mother Dorothy is now buried with her brother she sadly passed away on 4th April 2009.
