Richard Neal "Rich" Connell, 68, of Marengo, OH and formerly of Westerville, OH, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Rich was born in Brilliant, OH on January 19, 1946, to Clyde and Mary (Huff) Connell and is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Molnar; brothers, William, C. Raymond and Arthur Connell.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Pamela (Ridgway) Connell; daughter and son-in-law, Alise and Joseph Ruble; sister, Marge Rogers; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Rich is a veteran of the US Navy serving as Quarter Master on the USS Spiegel Grove during the Viet Nam era. He also worked as project manager helping to create the Columbus skyline. Rich was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Westerville and The Metro Columbus Daylily Society. He also was an avid Santa collector and enjoyed gardening with his wife.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2014, 2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Westerville, 41 West College Avenue, Westerville, OH 43081.
