Born in Havelock, NE. Daughter of Mick Daniel and Rachel L. Ellison Manners.
Married Jesse A. White December 30, 1933 in North Platte, NE. He preceded her in death August 5, 1978.
Survivors include sons David A. (Alberta Jo) and Donald L. (Sue) White; daughter Carole E. Stout; 11 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several great-great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters Beulah Folden, Minerva Stehn, Ruby Turner, Flossie Wills and Dolly Matthews; brothers Dee and Dale Manners; great-grandson Shawn White and son-in-law David L. Stout.

Postmaster of Alamo Post Office from 1963-1989. Also worked for Wilson Brothers Shirt Factory and F.W. Woolworth.
50-year member of Alamo Christian Church. Member of NAPUS.
Served as curator at Ben Hur Museum and enjoyed delving into the history of Gen. Lew Wallace.
Pink Lady volunteer in the hospital gift shop.

Services 1pm Tuesday, November 4 at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown. Visitation 11am until time of service.
