Brian DeMont Herrick

January 10, 1965 - October 21, 2014

Brian DeMont Herrick, 49, passed away peacefully in his sleep October 21, 2014 in San Angelo, Texas. He was born January 10, 1965 at the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania to Glen L Herrick and Patricia Ann Keitsock. He grew up in San Jose, California and then moved to Payson, Utah where he graduated from Payson High School. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed throughout Europe and was last stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

After being released from the Army, he had made his home in Texas, until 2000, when he moved back to Utah to be closer to his family. In August of this year, he had moved back to Texas and was working for Automatic Fire Protection where he was a Certified Pipe Fitter at the time of his death.

Brian loved his family dearly, and enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews. He had a huge heart and was a protector by nature. He was the type that would give you the shirt off his back or his last few dollars if it would help.

He is survived by his parents Glen L and Carol L Herrick, one brother, two sisters and two step-sisters; Randy (Teresa) Herrick, Tracy (Brandon) Henderson, Holly (Brody) Beeson, Stephanie (Dave) Leavitt and Susie (Jared) Knuteson. He is also survived by 2 sons, 1 daughter, 1 grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ann Herrick and his grandparents.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Park Ward (The Green Church) 110 South 300 West in Payson, Utah.
