Ryan Patrick Morgan, age 17, passed away at home in Bellingham, Washington, on April 23, 2005. Ryan was born in Bellingham on April 2, 1988, and attended Squalicum High School.
Ryan was the beloved son of Dennis and Stephanie Morgan. His paternal grandparents are E. Buford Morgan and Mary Morgan of Mesquite, Texas; his maternal grandparents, Joan and James Gillespie preceded him in death.
Ryan is survived by his older sister, Kimberly Morgan Taddonio and her husband, Mike; his older brother, Alan Morgan; and his younger sister, Amanda Morgan. He had a nephew, Bradley, and niece, Faith, whom he loved, as well as numerous other family members.
A highlight of Ryan's life was traveling to Nicaragua with Explorations Academy for a month in 2005 rebuilding an orphanage. He loved his friends and family, paint-balling, camping, scuba diving, DJing, and swimming at Whatcom Falls Park.
Ryan will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:30 until the time of funeral service and funeral services will be held at 3 pm at Greenacres Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Don Hooser of the United Church of God officiating. Interment will follow in Greenacres Cemetery.
