Sara was the daughter of Elisha Bowen and Penelope Everett Bowen.
Her death date is approximate. She married John E. Groover. Two cedar trees marked their graves, but since had to be cut down. Info passed down by their gg-grandaughter, Mrs. Wilma Hulsey who lived nearby. Sarah's marker has since been destroyed.
They had four boys and one daughter: Elisha B.Groover, Emmaline Groover, William B. Groover, James "Jim" Bulloch Groover, and John E. Groover Jr.
She lived with her son, John E. Jr. in 1880.
The cemetery sits in what used to be the family's front yard.
