Linton, Indiana
Gladys Inman , 54 years old, of Switz City, Route# 1,
died unexpectedly at 3:15 o'clock Friday afternoon
in the Freeman – Greene County Hospital.. He passed
away shortly after he was admitted to the hospital
after suffering a heart attack…
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the
Switz City Baptist Church with Rev. Doran McCarty and
Rev. Don Edwards officiating, and interment was made in
the Switz City Cemetery..
Mr. Inman, a farmer, had spent most of his life in the
Switz City community.. He was a member of the Switz City
Baptist Church …
He was born in Martin County on October 30, 1907, the son
of Frank and Harriette (Roberts) Inman…
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Ruby (Boruff) Inman, the father,
Frank Inman of Linton ; three sons, Robert J. Inman of Indianapolis,
Ronald D. Inman at home, and Michael Inman of Bloomington ; one
daughter, Miss Sonja Gail Inman at home ; two brothers, Carl and
Glen Inman of Linton ; six sisters, Mrs. Fonnie Davis, Mrs. Grace
Lorree and Mrs. Marie Mortatiory, all of Michigan, Mrs. Lillie
Marshall of Odon, Mrs. Thelma Trinkle of Linton and Mrs. Vivian
Bennett of Lebanon and one great granddaughter, Sherry Lynn Inman.
The Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home of Bloomfield was in charge of
the arrangements ….
