Here are buried the remains of
CHRISTIAN RICHARDSON
who died the 26 June 1803
aged 40 years,
to whose memory this stone was
erected by JOHN PIRIE
Merchant in Ruthven, her
surviving husband.
Also their son JAMES PIRIE who
died 19 Jan 1801 aged 9 yrs
The said JOHN PIRIE
who erected this stone,
Died 27 May 1818 aged 59
And their family:
GEORGE PIRIE MD at Grenada, West Indies 1828 aged 28;
JAMES PIRIE at Boston, America 1829 aged 28
JOHN PIRIE, farmer at Little Daugh May 1871 aged 75;
his wife SOPHIA GRANT KEITH Dec 1849 aged 37
and their son ALEXANDER KEITH PIRIE 1844 aged 4½
and their son JOHN b 6 Dec 1836,
died at Auchanachy 14 Aug 1917
and his wife RACHEL FETTES
who d. at the schoolhouse, Monzie, Crieff
20 Jun 1940 aged 82 yrs
