Mrs. Veda Shue, 70, of 531 W. Reynolds St., died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center.
A resident of Springfield for several years, Mrs. Shue was born in Farmingdale, the daughter of Harry and Jenny O'Brien Wartenbe.
She was married to Henry Shue, Sr., in 1929 in Springfield.
Surviving are her husband, Henry; two sons, Henry Jr. and Roy, both of Springfield; four grandchildren; three brothers, Alonzo Wartenbe of Virden, Victor Wartenbe of Pawnee, Clarence Wartenbe of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Mabel King of Virden; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth LaFary officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
