Mrs. B. V. Darling died at her home in Quincy, April 16, 1918 [YOD incorrect] , after an illness of a few days’ duration, of pneumonia, aged 37 years and 9 days.
Cora Lois Foss was born at Quincy, Wis., April 7tbh, 1882. On Nov. 24, 1904, at Friendship, deceased was united in marriage to Buena V. Darling of Quincy, and to this union four children were born, two of which died in infancy. Those left to mourn their loss are the husband, one daughter, one son, her father, three sisters, two brothers, and a host of friends and neighbors. With the exception of a few months, Mrs. Darling spent all her life in Quincy, where she was known as a kind and obliging neighbor with ever a kind word and a sunny smile for all her friends and acquaintances. To the bereaved relatives the sympathy of the community goes out in their hour of sorrow.
Funeral services were held at the home, Saturday, April 19th, at 2 P. M. conducted by Rev. O. E. DeWitt of Kilbourn, and interment was made in the Quincy cemetery.
