Damien J. “DeeJay” Greywater, “Hekaka Nazin” (Standing Elk) 19 of Devils Lake, ND began his journey to the Spirit World on Friday morning, October 24, 2014 and was found on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.

The Wake and Prayer Service for Damien will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Tekakwitha Center with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave on Monday at 4:00 p.m. from the former Wal-Mart in Devils Lake.

Funeral Services for Damien will be on Tuesday, November 4th at 12:00 noon also at St. Michael’s Tekakwitha Center with Father Paul Schuster officiating. Damien will be laid to rest in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Damien Justin Greywater, the son of Harriet Demarce and the late Alex Greywater III was born on October 19, 1995 in Devils Lake, ND. Damien attended school in Oberon and Minnewaukan, ND. He was employed at the Spirit Lake Casino and loved his job and being around people.

Damien had many many friends because he was outgoing, friendly and always willing to help people. He loved being around his nieces and nephews. He loved to listen to music and was never without his phone. He loved to be on his laptop.

Damien is survived by his loving family. His Mom Harriet “Muffy” Demarce; sisters Ashley Greywater, Alisa (Jake) Greywater and Dusti Greywater; brothers Alex “AJ” (Dana) Greywater, Cody Greywater, Dakotah (Danica) Greywater and Nickolas Greywater; nieces Kiara White, Sienna White, Payton White, Kaydence Greywater and Ahria Greywater; nephews Alex Greywater V, Nathan Greywater, Jacoby Allery and Dayton White; aunts Shirley (Faron) Stensland, Lisa (Merle) Greywater, Loretta Dubois, Patsy Dubois and Janice Dubois; uncles Ben Dubois and Rick (Melody) Dubois; grandmas Eunice Whiteman, Delemma Greywater, Renee “Bimbo” Lenoir and Hilda Weiker and many many cousins.

Damien was preceded in death by his paternal father Alexander J. “Zeke” Greywater III and grandparents Elizabeth Robertson, Pamela Greywater, Alex Greywater Jr., Bertha Demarce, Anna Jane Demarce Quintana.
