William L. "Sonny" Ladd, 82, of Tuscola died at 4:15 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 30, 2014) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana .

He was born July 7, 1932 in Trumann, Ark., the son of Leo and Lucille Settle Ladd.

Survivors include three sisters, Thelma Oldham of Madisonville, Ky., Betty Azar and Dollie Mae Irvin, both of Tuscola.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Mr. Ladd was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was formerly employed by Hot Point in Cicero and General Electric.
