Dick was born March 11, 1939, in Manannah to Michael and Loretta (McIntee) McCann. He married Evelin Boyer September 29, 1958, at the Church of Our Lady in Manannah. He lived and farmed in the Manannah area for most of his life, and retired from Frigidaire in St. Cloud after working there for 14 years. He moved to Eden Valley in 2010. He was a member of the Church of Our Lady in Manannah.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Evelin; son Joseph; grandson, Nick; and siblings, Frank, Eugene, and Lorraine Binsfeld.
