This community was greatly shocked by the sudden death of Frank Jock which occurred Wednesday, Aug 13th at his home here. Mr. Jock leaves surviving his wife and six children, Frank Jock of Watertown: Mrs. D. C. Murphy, Syracuse: Miss Minnie Jock, and James Jock, Moira: Daniel Jock, of Boston; Mrs. Fred Bombard, North Bangor, five brothers and one sister. Oliver Jock, Cooks Corners: Fred Jock, Brushton: Mrs. Fred Deyatte, Brushton: Charles, Jr., Potsdam, Ira Jock, Bangor, and Moses Jock, Moria. Mr. Jock was a prosperous farmer who was liked and respected by all who knew him. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved family. He worked in the hay field the day previous to his death and became considerably fatigued, but nothing was thought of it. The funeral was held Friday morning from St Mary's R. C. church which was largely attended. Mr. Jock was 68 years of age.
