At the age of 15, he came with his parents to Murray, Iowa, where he attended school. Six years later, he came to Knox county, whee he made his home for a number of years. Then, he went to Boone county, where he spent the remainder of his life with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Condreay.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Clara Condreay of Central City and Mrs. E.H. Condreay of St. Edward; one brother, F.W. Carder of Creighton and two half brothers, D.O. Carder of Missouri and F.M. Carder of Creighton. George Carder of Osceola, Iowa, another half brother of the deceased, passed away two days following Charles demise, at his home in Osceola.
Funeral services were held at the home of his sister, Friday, December 7, conducted by Rev. L.R. McGaughey of St. Edward, Nebraska. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery at St. Edward.
The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
