Services for Anthony Amantea, 22, of Chardon, a customer service representative for Progressive Insurance Co. in Mayfield Heights will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon Village.
Mr. Amantea died Tuesday at the Holy Family Cancer Home in Parma after a brief illness.
Born July 2, 1966, in Claridon Twp., he had lived in Chardon.
He had worked for Progressive Insurance and was a member of the Church of St. Mary in Chardon.
Survivors are his wife, Mary K. (Piras) of Chardon; parents Michael and Lucille; brother, Michael J. Jr. of Chardon; sisters, Rose Lee Goodfield of Chardon, Joan Frager of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Diane Liotta of Chardon; grandmother, Lena Amantea of Highland Heights and five nieces and nephews.
His paternal grandfather, Anthony Amantea and maternal grandparents, Patrick and Rose Petercca are deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Ritondaro Funeral Home, 128 South St., Chardon Village.
The Rev. George Vrabel of the Church of St. Mary will officiate at services. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp.
