Robert Gregory Sr. HARRODSBURG - Services for Robert C. Gregory Sr., 81, of Moreland Avenue, are 2 p.m. today at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home by the Rev. Michael West. Graveside services will be Monday in Manchester Memorial Gardens in Manchester. He died Thursday at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington.


Born Sept. 19, 1923, in Clay County, he was the son of the late Samuel and Laura Gregory.


He was a decorated World War II veteran and a retired electrical specialist from Douglas Aircraft in Santa Monica, Calif.


Survivors include his wife, Ruth Gregory; a daughter, Norma Gregory of Los Angeles; a son, William Gregory of Montague, Calif.; three sisters; 10 grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren.


He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Cecil Gregory, II.


Visitation is after 7 a.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, Ky., 40423.
