Mr. Fry worked for Armstrong Cork Company for several years in Kankakee, Ill., and later worked for Orton Crane Company in Huntington for several years as the head crane operator. He served in the United States Air Force for two years during the Korean War.

Mr. Fry was born in Iroquois, Ill., to Robert and Viola Perkins Fry. He married Sylvia Simmons in Aug. 18, 1956, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Sheldon, Ill., and his wife survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert Lee Fry of Plymouth and Mike Fry of Indianapolis; a daughter, Debra L. Scheiber of Huntington; a brother, Benjamin Fry of Sheldon, Ill.; a sister, Shirley Sanford of Benton, Mo.; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Denise Fry, and a sister, Gloria Jeannette Fry.
