Lillie Pentecost Cassidy, 77, of Bedford, died Tuesday, May 21, 1991 at her residence. She was born in Bedford March 16, 1914, a daughter of the late John Thomas Pentecost and Ina Wilkinson Pentecost. She was the widow of Levi Jack Cassidy, a retired employee of Belding Corticelli, and was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons, Jack Michael Cassidy, Colonial Heights, Pat W. Cassidy, Bedford; a daughter, Ina C. McDaniel, Bedford; six grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Friday, May 24, 1991 at 2 p.m. at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel with the Revs. David L. Engleman and Darrell T. Campbell officiating. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery. The family suggests those wishing to make memorials consider the Bedford Life Saving Crew or Bedford Fire Department.
