He was born to Paul and Inez Sand on March 22, 1960. Now he follows in the death of his parents, Paul and Inez Sand, his sister, Kathy, stepdaughter, Tessa Morrison, and other family members before him.
The 'Sandman' leaves behind his loving and caring wife and soul mate: Karen Sand and family, Carl, Nikki, Donavon, Melissa, Don, Skip, Ken, P.J., Mike, Nick, Barb and Andy, and their loving families; grandkids: Kinya, Devon, Blake, Taylor, MaKayla, Lucy, Lenny and Daymain.
We will deeply miss the 'Sandman', a husband, father brother and grandfather. He has touched so many throughout his life with love and laughter.
"But I have to say, most of all was his softball. He loved playing softball just like a big kid and also began his love of the outdoors, camping, fishing, barbecues with family and friends at the cabin on Priest Lake.
I will deeply miss my rock soulmate and my best friend. We did so much together: camping fishing, cooking and drives on the weekend, plus going to yard sales.
Tim was a great father to my son and they fought all the time, but as time went by they became best friends forever. Rest in Peace, my love. I will miss you, love your wife, Karen."
There will be a gathering for family and friends Saturday, November 8, 2014, 12:00 - 3:00 pm at St. Thomas Center, 10th and Indiana Street, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Following the memorial gathering, an urn burial will be held 3:00 pm at the St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery with Father Roger La Chance officiating.
