Charles W. [Wynn] Handwork, for many years a resident of Bucktown, celebrated is 82d birthday anniversary this week. He resides with his son, [Charles "Cass"] Cassell Handwork, of Rittenhouse Rd., Audobon (sic) [Audubon].

Among relatives and friends who called to surprise him on the event and to help celebrate the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mertz, of Main St., Spring City; Mrs. Mattie Epehimer (sic){nee Mattie May Handwork} [Eppeheimer], of Lyndell; Mrs. Ada Updegrove, of Sanatoga; Mrs. Cora {nee Cora Margaret Handwork} Todd, of Loag's Corner; Mrs. Elsie Huff, of Cedarville; and Mrs. Huff's sister Helen and son John, of Sanatoga. Mrs. Merts is a niece and Mrs. Eppehimer (sic) {Eppeheimer}, a cousin.

Succumbs at 85

Charles W. Handwerk (sic), a resident of 826 Rittenhouse Road, Audobon (sic)[Audubon], died at Phoenixville Hospital Monday. He was 85 years old and had been under treatment at the hospital since May 1.
