Deputy Jeremy Martin was born September 17, 1985, in Concord, Massachusetts.

In 2011 he moved to New Mexico to pursue a career in law enforcement with the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department.

Jeremy went to be with Jesus and his father, James, on October 28, 2014.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Martin, their three children, Alyssa, Tyler and Travis, his two brothers, Jimmy and Jeffrey, and his mother Linda.

He is preceded in death by his father James.

Jeremy was a man of great faith. He was a kind, compassionate and hardworking man. He was comical, a great joy to be around, and he brought a smile to fellow deputies and citizens alike. Jeremy loved being outdoors with his family fishing, working on his Jeep, and camping. Above all, he was a loving and devoted husband and father. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Services will be at 10:00am on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Capitol High School in Santa Fe.
