Helen L. Pickering, 92, of Chillicothe died on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Heritage Health, Chillicothe, IL.
Helen was born January 23, 1922 in Monmouth the daughter of Frank and Edith (Rankin) Graham. She married Edward G. Claycomb, who preceded her in death. Later she married William C. Pickering on November 17, 1961 in Peoria who preceded her in death on December 7, 2007.
Surviving are two sons, Stanley (Carol) Claycomb of Lincoln, AL and Terry (Cheryl) Claycomb of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, brothers, sisters, and best friend and sister-in-law, Carolyn.
Helen worked for and retired from the UFCW, United Food and concession Workers Union. She worked for several grocery stores in the Peoria/Chillicothe area, including Kroger's and Thompson's. She was a member of the Rocky Top Ramblers would go to the Tennessee Football and Basketball games. She also enjoyed boating, NASCAR, vacations and family gatherings.

Burial will be held at the Chillicothe City Cemetery.
