Benjamin, better known as Ben or Benny passed away due to a blood clot, more specifically bilateral Pulmonary Thromboemboli/Deep Venous Thrombosis of the Left Lower Extremity on the 29th of September, 2014.
Ben is the son of Mary Lou Helms (Jean), and Donald Helms. He was the second oldest of the four children. He is survived by his mother, brother Mark Helms, and sister Gloria Helms Vidas. He leaves behind 7 nephews and nieces and many great nephews and nieces. His father Donald Helms and brother Edward Helms preceded him in death.
