William Frenz, a resident of this city for nearly fifty years, passed away at the home of his son, Walter, in Milwaukee Sunday at the age of 77 years.

Deceased was born in Germany in 1846 and came to this country in 1873. He was twice married and had been widowed several years when the final summons came to him. Mr. Frenz has, for the past three years, made his home with his son, Walter, in Milwaukee. Up to that time, he was a resident of this city where he was for many years employed in the tub and pail industry. He was a devout member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the funeral, which was a large one, was held from there Wednesday afternoon, Rev. W.G. Haase officiating.

Deceased is survived by nine children, Emil, and Mrs. Peter Zinn of this city, Walter, Mrs. John Doerfler, Ella, Vera, Herta and Esther of Milwaukee and Mrs. Walter Marvin of New Jersey.

Mr. and Mrs. John Doerfler, who were at Two Rivers where they were called by the death of Mrs. Doerfler’s father, William Frenz, returned to Milwaukee last evening.
