Mary H. Tobias, age 82, of Nappanee, died on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at 2:50 p.m. at her residence. She had been ill with cancer for 3 years. She was born on September 4, 1932 to James D. and Lydia (Zentz) Arnott in Nappanee. She was a lifetime area resident. Mary was a member of the Nappanee First Brethren Church, and the Nappanee Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years. She loved her family and loved to play cards.

She married Levi Tobias on September 8, 1950 in Nappanee. He survives, along with daughters Amy (Rick) Strang of Nappanee, Beth (Paul) Hollar of Atwood; son Greg (Joan) Tobias of Granger; grandchildren Batt (Makky) Masterson, Breea (Alan) Nunemaker, Timothy Tobias, and Taylor (Melissa) Tobias; 3 great-grandchildren Oliver and Owyn Nunemaker, and Brady Francis. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Richard, and Don Arnott, and sisters Dorothy Sechrist and Verna Hostetter.
