NEVA JEAN JOHNSON, age 72, of Alvin, Texas passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Webster, Texas. Neva was born on September 21, 1942 in Nacogdoches, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for over 50 years. She was a machine operator at Pro Fax Welding for 20 years and was a member of the Baptist faith. Neva was preceded in death by her parents, Bernis and Kathryn Vanover; and grandson, Justin.

Neva is survived by her husband, David Johnson; daughter, Angela Kramer and husband, Curt; son, Michael Johnson and wife, Vickie; brothers, Lamerle Vanover and Jerry Mitchell; 7 grandchildren, Shawna, Curt, Taylor, Emily, Robert, Rachael and Joseph; 6 great-grandchildren, Grace, M’Lynn, Brooklynn, Clayton, Corvin and Kalyn; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Scott Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery, Alvin, Texas.

Arrangements under the direction of the Scott Family.
