He was born in Okmulgee. He enjoyed reading history and was a student of constitutional law. He enjoyed Big Band music and his fervent wish was to see prayer back in schools. He served in World War II in B Company, 329th Medical Battalion in Normandy, France, Germany and Central Europe. He retired from Brown and Bigelow where he sold specialty advertising throughout all of Oklahoma for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; brother, Randall of Mich.; son, Dr. Fred Wallace of Ada; two daughters, Teresa Youngs and husband, Bill of California and Amy Spring and husband, Roger of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by five grand children.
