November 7, 1917 -July 12, 2008. Ruth Reardon, 90, of Sarasota, Florida died July 12, 2008. Loving mother of four daughters was born in Long Island, New York and raised her family in New Rochelle where they were members of Holy Family Parish. She attended Hartford Hospital School of Nursing, Good Counsel College and the College of New Rochelle. Licensed by the Archdiocese of New York, Ruth taught at Our Lady of Victory Elementary School in Mount Vernon for nine years. Ruth received her B.S. with Distinction from Iona College, and attended Columbia University, achieving Fellow status in the American College of Nursing Home Administrators in 1983. She served as Assistant Administrator of New Rochelle Hospital Howe Avenue Nursing Home until retiring in 1987. Survivors include daughters Faith Schrepping of Yucca Valley, California, Barbara Reardon of Los Angeles, Renee Horner of Sarasota and Katherine Reardon Haber of San Francisco; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Thus is based upon a few good references that intertwine residences, father's obituary, marraige records and such but no solid reference stating vith married name and maiden name. So, I am not suggesting this edit on her memorial. Potentially, this fact might be proved out with further research of siblings news articles and such.
