Thomas Ala, 79 years of age, a resident of the Easton community 60 years died at 10 o'clock last night at Cushing Memorial hospital. He had been ill only a short time. A well-known Leavenworth County farmer, Mr. Ala was born in Leavenworth, September 1, 1862. All his life had been spent in Leavenworth County. A member of te Easton Methodist Church, he also was a member of Easton Masonic lodge No. 45. His first wife Mary Olsen Ala, died in 1897 his second wife Anna Folman Ala died in March 20, 1940.
