Anna was the daughter of Heinrich 'Henry' Musser (April 4 1776- Oct 3 1822) and Maria Engle (May 16 1783- Oct 20 1842), who were married on September 20 1805 in Lancaster County.

She was married to Jacob Moyer Engel, son of Honnes 'Weaver John' Engle and Elizabeth Moyer (Myers).

Anna's paternal grandparents were Jacob Mosser (April 20 1753 Lanc. Co.-March 6 1784) and Christina Engel (bef 1750 Corgemont, Basel, Switz.- Feb 1787 Lanc. Co.). Her maternal grandparents were Ulrich Engel (July 1 1743 Basel, Switz. - Sept 28 1799 East Donegal, Lanc. Co.) and Magdalena Bixler (1741 York Co.- Sept 13 1821 Lanc. Co.).


She was the mother of Anna Engle Wolgemuth.
