He is survived by his wife and dear little babe, father, mother, three sisters, Mrs. Rilla Maw Ludwick, Memphis, Missouri; Caldonna and Della Frances at home, one nephew, a number of uncles and aunts and many other relatives and a host of friends.
He united with the M. E. Church at the age of 18 years. He was a member of the graduating class of Wyaconda High School of '27.
Richard's health began failing about a year ago and everything that was at all possible in the way of modern science, surgery, and medical aid was given him, but it was not the will of God that he could longer stay.
Music was furnished by J. A. Bailey and Prof. H. L. Martin with Mrs. Jewell Mason presiding at the piano.
Pallbearers were: George Evans Lips, Junior Bertram, Carl and Herbert Dochterman, and Nelson Bertram.
Burial was made in the Wyaconda Cemetery. Rev. G. V. Baskett officiating.
