Mrs. J. C. Felts Dies at Jesup

Jesup, la.—Mrs. J. C. Felts, member of a pioneer Jesup family and a native of this community, died early Thursday morning at her home here. She had been ill a year from cancer. Mrs. Felts was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner Thayer, early settlers here. She was 65 years old. Surviving are a son, M. T. Felts. of this place, and two daughters, Mrs. Harold McKibben. Jesup, and Mrs. Claude Miller, Waterloo, and five grandchildren.
