David Fink, age 85
, of Two Rivers, died Saturday evening March 2, 2000 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2000 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Edward Stelter will officiate at the service, with burial to follow in Pioneer Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.

He was born June 3, 1914 in Sheboygan, Wis., son of the late frederick and Pauline Kunz Fink. He attended St. John’s Parochial School in Two Rivers. On June 17, 1950 he was married to Ethel Althen at St. John’s Church, Two Rivers. She preceded him in death March 11, 1997. David worked on his parent’s farm until the age of 36 before becoming employed with Schwartz Manufacturing where he worked until retiring in 1979. He enjoyed working around his yard, gardening and camping.

Friends may call at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, after 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service at 2 p.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Church of Manitowoc County Special Olympics. Special thanks to the nurses of the VNA. Hospice Program for their excellent care and compassion, and a big thank you to the Paul Simonar family for all they did for me. God Bless Everyone.

Simonar, Two Rivers, Paul Jr. (Heidi) Simonar and their son Matthew,
Manitowoc, Brian (Lynette) Simonar and their son Zack, Two Rivers,
and his special angel Dawn Marie Simonar, Two Rivers.
He was a loving uncle to nieces, nephews, great nieces, a great nephew,
and great-great nieces.
