Karen Arthur, 6512 Merwin Chase Road, Brookfield, passed away at 3:58 a.m. Sunday (12-21-08) in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown She was 60.
Mrs. Arthur was born Sept. 22, 1947, in Sharon, a daughter of Steve and Margaret Raykie Klapach.
She was a 1966 graduate of Sharon High School.
Karen retired in 1999 as a cutter operator for Delphi Packard Electric Systems, Warren, Ohio.
Mrs. Arthur was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sharon.
She enjoyed boating, motorcycle rides and, most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her husband, Gerald Arthur, whom she married July 11, 1970; two daughters, Shelly and her husband Jeffrey Komorek, Hubbard; and Brandy and her husband Robert Davies Jr., Columbus, Ohio; a son, Gerald Arthur and his wife Dana, Brunswick, Ohio; a sister, Charlotte Follmeyer, Hermitage; and four grandchildren, Nathan and Lauren Komorek and Robert III and Brady Davies.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial: Brookfield Township Cemetery.
