Grover was Rod's kitty, adopted as a two year-old from the Humane Society of Missouri. In 2002, Rod was unable to keep Grover, and gave him to David, along w/Grover's friend, Q.

Grover was a magnificent Maine Coon mix, about 15 pounds of kitty! Grover liked to own EVERYTHING, if you know what I mean. For the last handful of years, Grover lived on the deck, in the fenced backyard. He loved sitting on the deck overlooking his domain of birds. We shaved him once a year and he did like to be shaved! He knew he was handsome w/long or short hair. He felt like velor when shaved. Grover had a spring shelter and a winter shelter and plenty of food and water and attention. Even during the hottest or coldest weather, Grover chose to remain outside! But sometimes, we would bring him inside anyway, to visit for awhile. He would catch the occasional mouse, and only enjoy the head! I found a few remains of mice...thanks, Grover, for this icky memory. ;o)

Grover enjoyed a happy, long life! We miss and love you, Grover. Run healthy at the Rainbow Bridge. ♥
