Harry Jensen was a Station Agent in Clark County, WI. During a raid on the Krueger family farm by a sheriff's posse to apprehend the Krueger boys who were draft dodgers in rural Withee, Clark Co, WI, Harry was mortally wounded and differing accounts have him dying at the scene in Withee or at Owen, WI where he was taken for treatment. *No Death Certificate has been located at either Clark County nor at Madison, WI.
In, Cemetery Inscriptions of Sauk County, WI, Vol 9, p. 62 ©1987, Harry Jensen is stated to be buried with his wife in Greenwood Cemetery, based on "information obtained by the Wisconsin Old Cemetery Society from sources other than the headstone", but gives no further details.
*The newspaper account in the Stevens Point Journal dated September 16, 1918, says Harry was killed near Withee on September 14.
