Funeral services for Mr. William Lawrence "Bill" Babb, age 62, will be held December 7th at 4 p.m. in Coopers Baptist
church. The Revs. Charles Pattisaul and Harold Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Babb died December 5th at the Dublin Veterans Hospital.
He was a native of Baldwin County and a veteran of World War II. He was a retired employee of Griffin Pipe Co. He was also a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosa Mae Bloodworth Babb; his daughter, Mrs. Eileen Cargile of Eatonton, Mrs. Betty Turner of Marietta and Mrs. Sheila Burgamy of Milledgeville; his sons, Mr. Donnie Babb of Gray, and Mr. Richard Babb, Mr. Jeff Babb and Mr. Bill Babb all of Milledgeville; his sisters, Mrs. Marie Alford, Mrs. Lynda Lee, and Rose Woodall all of Milledgeville, and Mrs. Elizabeth Cooper of Warner Robbins; his brothers, Mr. Pete Babb, Mr. Joe Babb, Mr. John Babb, Mr. George Babb and Mr. Gerald Babb, all of Milledgeville; and eight grandchildren.
The body will be placed in the church at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
