Annie Mae Howard

Annie Mae Howard, 76, of 1702 5th Street South, Phenix City, AL, died Tuesday at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Seale Road Baptist Church, with burial in Lakeview Memory Gardens, according to Colonial Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Rev. Greg Cotter will officiate. Visitation will be this evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Active pallbearers will be David Howard, Michael Howard, Danny Howard, Eugene Howard, Keith Howard, and John Earl Senn.
Mrs. Howard was born February 3, 1920 in Kitetown, Russell County, AL, daughter of Beatrice Sallas Gibbs and John B. Downs. She retired from Fieldcrest Cannon Mills after many years and was a member of Seale Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Samuel V. Howard and W. Travis Howard, both of Phenix City, AL; three sisters, Frances Kite of Ft. Mitchell, AL, and Mary Blalock and Armenta Green, both of Phenix City; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
