Daisy Jean Muse White was born on March 30, 1949 in Palestine, Texas, to the parents of Caretha and Leander Muse, Sr. She was the last of nine children.She attended Banks Elementary, Lincoln High School, and was a member of the last class to graduate from A.M. Story High School in 1967. She attended Henderson County Junior College.She married her high school sweetheart, Leroy White, and moved to Houston, Texas. This union was blessed with three daughters.
For several years she worked in the Medical Field at St. Luke Hospital in Houston. Later she opened her own business, Daisy’s Lingerie.Daisy accepted Christ early in life and united with Community of Love Church, later she joined Grant Chapel AME Church. She served as a stewardess, choir member, YPD and class leader.
She was active in The Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Council and other community and church activities in Houston. She was once a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club.
Daisy left this earth on the Wings of Angels, on October 23, 2014 in Houston, Texas, she was preceded in death by her parents, Leander and Caretha Muse, Sr.; Brothers, Charles Muse and Leander Muse, Jr.; Parent-in-laws, Azella and Leroy White, Sr.; Brothers-in-law, Bennie Brown, Henry Jones, Gwendell White; sister-in-law, Linnie Muse, Helen Gibson.
