JAMESTOWN - Philip Richard Parker, of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday (Oct. 15, 2014).
Born Oct. 9, 1967, in Olean, he was the son of Philip V. and Cathy D. Parker. He graduated from Olean High School in 1985 and then from DeVry University with an associate's degree of applied science in electronics.
Phil enjoyed making copper trees and stained glass and was an avid lover of animals. He will be remembered as the nicest and greatest guy by his friends and family.
Surviving are a daughter, Ashley Lawton of Cassadaga; his father, Philip V. Parker of York, Pa.; a sister, Sherry (Chris) Webb of Olean; nephew and nieces Jonathan (Deborah) Rijski, Ashley King, Lindsey Parker, Nichole Rice and Kristen Smith; and great-nieces and great-nephew Keanna, Lailla, Julian King-Rogers and Julieanne Pittman.
Phil was predeceased by his sister, Julie Parker; his mother, Cathy Parker; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Carey; and paternal grandparents Richard and Alberta Parker and Estralda and Ed Foster.
Services will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
