Port Lavaca – Nile Eugene Tudor, 83 passed from this life on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. He was born in Midland on January 9, 1931 to the late William Boon and Faitha Eugenia (Lantron) Tudor. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired Iron Worker and a member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church.
Nile is survived by his wife, Betty Ferguson Tudor of Port Lavaca; sons, Reggie Tudor (Charlotte) of West Columbia, Bennie Tudor (Elaine) of Damon, Quincy Tudor (Trish) of Port Lavaca and Rickey Hazen; sisters, Watsie Counts of Lancaster, CA, Dollie Wooten of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Candida Tudor, Eric Tudor, Misty Geigle Johannesen, Cynthia Geigle Eason, Wendell Geigle, Jennifer Tudor Turpin, Justin Tudor, Niki Tudor Kubena, Shawna Tudor Truitt, Kasey Tudor Phillips and Katie Tudor and 18 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Zenda Kay Geigle, brothers, Hardy and Ennis Tudor.
Burial will follow services at Olivia Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Eric Tudor, Wendell Geigle, Justin Tudor, Ronnie Johannesen, Troy Eason, Trey Kubena, Chad Truitt and Travis Phillips.
