Martin Luther "Mott" Berry, 85, of died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2000, at his home.
Son of Ralph Clayton "Rafe" Berry Sr (1877–1968) and Sophronia Styron Berry (1882–1963); husband of Mary Couch Berry.
A lifelong member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Other survivors include daughters, Barbara B. Blackwell and Carol B. Meeks; son, Layne Berry; sister, Maggie McDowell; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Also predeceased by a son, Norman Keith Berry (1956-1980).
Eulogistic services were held at 3:30 pm, January 18, 1966, at Thompson Centennial Methodist Church, Anderson, SC, conducted by Rev. Percy C. Carter.
