Mrs. Lichtenberg Dies at her San Rafael Home

Wife of Stock Broker Passes Away After a Long Period of Ill Health

San Rafael, March 21. - Mrs. William Lichtenberg, wife of the San Francisco stock broker, died at her beautiful residence here early this morning.

Mrs. Lichtenberg had been in ill health for some time and her death was not unexpected. Several grown daughters and two sons survive her. One son, William Lichtenberg Jr., is a Goldfield mine owner, while Rudolph Lichtenberg is Under Sheriff of this county. Mrs. Lichtenberg had made her home here for the last thirty years. The funeral will take place Saturday.

Lichtenberg. In San Rafael, Cal., March 20, 1907, Charlotte Lichtenberg (nee Finke), wife of William Lichtenberg, and mother of Mrs. A.W. DuBois, Mrs. G.A. Tiel, Mrs. Harry Johnson Jr., and Marie, Willy and Rude Lichtenberg, a native of Bremen, Germany, aged 65 years.

The funeral services will be held today Saturday, March 23, at 10:30 o'clock a.m., at her late residence in San Rafael, Interment private.

Mrs. Lichtenberg Passes Away

Mrs. Charlotte Lichtenberg was laid to rest in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery on last Saturday. Mrs. Lichtenberg was one of the best honored, most highly respected of San Rafael's residents.

With her husband, Mr. W.G. Lichtenberg and family, she settled in San Rafael many years ago. During all her years of residence here her gentleness, her sweetness of character, her many fine womanly qualities, endeared her to all with whom she came in contact.

Mrs. Lichtenberg left her surviving, her husband, W.G. Lichtenberg, her daughters, Mrs. Anna M. DuBois, Mrs. G.A. Ziel, Mrs. Harry Johnson, Jr., Miss Mary Lichtenberg; Under Sheriff Rudolph G. Lichtenberg and Mr. William G. Lichtenberg, an assayist.
