Leroy "Uncle Bootsy" Anthony Jr., a native of New Orleans, born January 9, 1932: took wings on Monday October 13, 2014 at the age of 82. He was a very dedicated member of his church (Zion Hill Baptist Church). He leaves to mourn his death, his daughter Anita (Terry0 Spencer of New York; his grandkids Doniesha, Craig and Arianna Davis; a very dedicated and devoted dear sister Dorothy Johnson; a favorite niece Cheryl Arbuthnot and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy Anthony Sr., and Marguerite Green O'Neil and stepfather Nelson O'Neil; two sisters Mary Fraii and Evelyn Morgan, one brother George Green. Family, friends, pastor, officers and members of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church; friends of the Senior Living Assistant Home at 3419 St. Claude Ave., and Franklin Avenue Baptist Church family are invited to attend his Home going Service on Wednesday October 22, 2014 for 10:00 am at Zion Hill M.B. Church, 1126 N. Robertson St., NOLA, Rev. Sidney Joshua, officiating. Interment is in Southeast LA Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Rd., Slidell, LA.
