“Funeral services for Leo D. Hornsby, 63, were held last Friday in the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Erwin Smith and the Rev. Joseph A. Moore officiating. Burial was in Snow Hill Church cemetery.
Mr. Hornsby's death occured last Thursday.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Pearl Adams; two sons, Leo Hornsby, Jr., and Floyd Hornsby, both of Milledgeville; two daughters, Mrs. Usher Clay Moody of Forest Park, and Mrs. Miles (Lilliam) Jones of Dublin; a daughter -in-law, Mrs. Felton Hornsby, one brother, Paul B. Hornsby of Jackson. Mississippi; two sisters, Mrs.Edna Bloodworth and Mrs. Mattie Beck, Both of Milledgeville. There are six grandchildren.”
