Pauline Emma NEWMAN of Waterford died suddenly May 11, 2013 at 87 years of age. Loving wife for 40 years to the late Cyril T.; dearest mother of Cynthia (Thomas) Edwards, Cecelia (Gailen) Hathcock, Corynne (John) Ronk, Heidi (Stephen) Fritz, and Scott (Cheryl) Newman; grandmother of Aaron (Tina), Daniel, Emma, Scott, Stephen, Susan, Thomas (Meredith), and Wayne (Diane); great grandmother of Bryan, Haylee, and Michelle; sister of the late Alvin “Pete” Prator. Pauline was born November 19, 1925 in Detroit to Paul and Beulah (nee Brisbois) Prator. She spent 20 years as a classroom aide for the Waterford Public Schools. She was a long time member of Lakeland Presbyterian and then Community Presbyterian Church.
Visitation : Family will receive friends Tuesday 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.

Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Community Presbyterian Church, 4301 Monroe at Sashabaw Road, Waterford. Interment follows Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.
