Mrs. Della Engberg died Friday, April 21 at the North Haven Rest Home in Northome after being in failing health for the past several months. She was 87 years old.
Della Armstrong was born Nov. 19, 1879 in Chippewa County. Her husband, J.A. Engberg preceded her in death. They had lived in Chippewa county following their marriage, moving to the Cormant township in 1920.
Mrs. Engberg had been a resident of North Haven for the past three years.
Surviving are two sons, Alvin and Wallace of Clarinda, Ia.; three daughters, Mrs. Art (Doris) Hill, Gilbert, Mrs. Harvey (Lois) Overly, Dilworth and Mrs. Ed (Marcella) Langer, Burbank, Calif.; one brother, Frank Armstrong of Hinkley, and one sister, Mrs. Charles (Lillian) Gunderson, Northome; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
One daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Ruby) Nesset and three sons, Stanley, Lloyd and Carl, also preceded her in death.
