Brief Illness Fatal To Mrs. S. Borley
Mrs. Susan Borley, aged 80, of 408 Thirteenth avenue east, died in a local hospital Tuesday, following a brief illness.
She was born in Haughley, England, came to Canada in 1910 and before coming to Calgary in 1928 she had lived at Benito and Swan River in Manitoba. Mrs. Borley resided here for two years and then moved to Saskatchewan in 1930, and later back to Swan River. She returned to Calgary in 1937.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.
Surviving are six sons, Edward of Calgary, Albert of Sopoff, Saskatchewan, Arthur and Joseph of Swan River, Cecil of Minitonas, Manitoba, and Louis of Carlea, Saskatchewan; a daughter, Mrs. P.J. Borley of Bearberry, Alberta; a sister, Mrs. P. Borley of London; 35 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her husband died in 1910.
