Jerry is survived by his sisters and brother, Mary (husband, George) Farmer, JoAnn (husband, Darrell) Mansfield, Margaret Louise (husband, Patrick) Clarke, and Raymond Lee Cosgriff; nieces and nephews Elizabeth Ann (husband, Mark) Petro, George W. (wife, Val) Farmer, Kathryn D. Farmer, Randi Sue (husband, Ken) Idler, Lon (wife, Debbie) Mansfield, LeaAnn (husband, Steve) Brannan, Lawrence Lee Joseph, William Alexander (wife, Tonya) Joseph, Robert Lee (wife, Laurie) Joseph, Lynn Michael (wife, Patricia) Clark, Dale Patrick (wife, Rhonda) Clarke, Raymond Scott Cosgriff, and James Curtis (wife, Cathy) Cosgriff and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Doris Joseph, one brother, James Cosgriff, and two nephews, Chris Clarke and Dennis Clarke.
Jerry was employed with Sears and Roebuck for nearly 40 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, member of the Church of Our Saviour, and past-commander of the Amvets. He enjoyed golfing and playing cards. Jerry was an integral part of a loving family.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Church of Our Saviour in Jacksonville, with burial at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 Noon on Monday at the Williamson Funeral Home, where the family will meet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Routt High School Cosgriff Family Endowment Fund.
